Clothes Line (Wrap It Up) by Boogaloo and His Gallant Crew
Clothes Line (Wrap It Up) is a proto-rap comedy song by Boogaloo and His Gallant Crew from 1956. Boogaloo was pseudonym used by songwriter and record producer Kent Harris, who was born on 15 October 1930 in Oklahoma City.

Clothes Line (Wrap It Up)

Clothes Line (Wrap It Up) was set in a funky little cloting store where Boogaloo wanted to buy a fancy new suit on credit. When the credit didn’t go through, he left without the suit.
The track was covered by The Coasters in 1960 and they retitled it Shoppin’ For Clothes. They transformed the song  into a talking blues dialog between customer Guy and a cool salesman portrayed by bass singer Will “Dub” Jones.
I was shoppin' for a suit the other day, and I walked into the department store
I stepped on the elevator and told the girl "Dry Goods floor"
When I got off a salesman come up to me, he say "What can I do for you?"
I say "Go in there and show me all them sport clothes, like you supposed to"
He say "Well, this year the country's on a continental kick, everybody likes the Latin designs"
I say "Well, do you have?"
He say "We got everything, you see, clothes is our line"

Listen to both versions.
