Trust Your Child, Part I by Patrizia and Jimmy
Trust Your Child, Part I by Patrizia and Jimmy is a proto rap song released in 1973 on the ALA label. Jimmy was actually Jimmy Robins: a soul singer and organist. Robins started as a blues and gospel singer and was specialised in the Hammond B3 organ. Little is know about Patrizia and even Robins couldn't recall Patrizia's last name or much about her career.

Listen, parents everywhere

Trust Your Child, Part I is aan awesome funky rap with Jimmy shouting on the background and playing the pumping B3 organ. Patrizia, a teenager, was rapping this message for parents everywhere.
Trust your child
We wanna be trusted!

B-Side

The B-Side is an instrumental version of Trust your Child. An incredible funky track!
