African Rhythms is a track that features a short jazz rap followed by the vocal stylings of Jacqueline Holman (aka Lady Eka-Ete) and the sounds of a jazzy saxophone played by bandleader James "Plunky" Branch.

Oneness Of Juju

Oneness Of Juju, originally known as Juju, started in San Francisco in 1971 as an avant-garde jazz group. It was the brainchild of saxophonist Plunky Branch. The band mixed R&B, Afro Jazz, Brazilian percussion and funk with an upbeat spiritual message. African Rhythms Jazz Rap

The rap on African Rhythms is performed by Plunky himself and goes like:
These are African Rhythms
Passed down to us from the ancient spirits
A unifying force
Come on move with the spirits
Stand up, clap your hands
Groove with the rhythm
Get down, get off
